VISION

Our vision is national website-based resource that effectively assists all South Africans to take advantage of education and training opportunities, to find and secure a successful place for themselves in the South African world of work and society and to participate successfully in the global economy.

MISSION

Seben.Za.Net will provide a comprehensive career and life skills education and training support service and associated resources to South African learners and educators, parents and the wider community, in order to assist South Africans to prepare for, to choose, to embark on and to progress in a successful career in the South African world of work and society.

THE SEBEN.ZA.NET TEAM & ITS PARTNERS

Seben.Za.Net is a project of the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre. Sci-Bono is an independent non-profit science centre, set up to support the delivery of mathematics, science and technology education in Gauteng schools and to offer career and life skills education and support. Sci-Bono is supported by the Gauteng Department of Education and by grants from the South African private and public sector.
Seben.ZA.Net has been developed as a partnership project supported by the following partners:

Regional Council of Ile de France Ile de France has a sisterhood agreement with the South African province of Gauteng. The Regional Council has provided funding and expertise to set up Seben.Za.Net

BHP Billiton Development Trust supports the BHP Billiton Career Centre at Sci-Bono and has contributed resources to develop and run Seben.Za.net

Gauteng Department of Education assists in providing content, liaison with schools and advice on career and life skills education curriculum delivery.

Web Devils has constructed the website and provides support and expertise to the project.

Joburg Metro represents the city of Johannesburg on the project and provides advice and support to Seben.Za.Net
